An Electronic Announcement posted June 18, 2012 highlighted the availability of Direct Loan (DL) Tools for Windows, Release 12.0. This is a supplemental software product for Direct Loan participants and is available for download on the Federal Student Aid Download website.
In addition to the software, the following user documentation is now available on the FSAdownload website:
- DL Tools, Release 12.0 Cover Letter (provides information regarding enhancements available in Release 12.0)
- DL Tools, Release 12.0 Installation Guide (provides technical guidance regarding installing and using Release 12.0)
Volume IV (DL Tools) of the 2012-2013 Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) Technical Reference, which includes external import record layouts and other information for system administrators, is also available on the FSAdownload website.
