Jim: How many years have you worked in the financial aid industry?

Anne:  I have been in the industry for 30 years. I have worked for Nelnet since 2003.

Jim: What previous positions have you held?

Anne: Prior to joining Nelnet, I was the Bureau Director for New York State Higher Education in Albany. I have also worked for Bethany College in West Virginia as the Associate Director of Financial Aid and Admissions and at DePauw University in Indiana as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid.

Jim: What is your education background?

Anne: I have a Bachelor of Arts in higher education administration from Bethany College.

Jim: Anne, tell me about your family.

Anne: I have three wonderful adult children: Jodi, Jeff and Jeremy, and a terrific grandson, Koby. My dog Rudy is almost 16 and still going strong. We’re going for a longevity record–both of us, actually.

Jim: What are some of your interests outside of work?

Anne: In my spare time, I like doing creative things such as landscaping, design, decorating, and art projects.  I volunteer in the community and enjoy Zumba, music, and dancing. My favorite way to spend time is socializing with friends and family.
