Nelnet Loan Servicing: Our Commitment to the Schools We Serve

July 14, 2010

Even though we have an ever-changing environment, I wanted to re-state the goals for our school relationships. These remain constant.

Make educational dreams possible.

By servicing government loans, we help provide education-seeking families with an affordable education and offer colleges and universities guidance and assistance when needed.

Follow our values.

Customers have and always will be number one, and we will continue to treat you as valued partners.

 Communicate clearly and openly.

You will receive clear, open, and honest communication. Truth, honesty, and integrity are fundamental to our success.

 Be accountable.

We assume responsibility for all interactions between our company and your school, students, and parents.

Adhere to a Code of Conduct.

We lead by example and rely on good judgment and experience to help us make ethically sound decisions each day.

 Respect your time.

We develop a focused agenda with clear, specific items of discussion for all meetings, resulting in timely solutions for your school, staff, students, and parents.

 Provide best-in-class service.

We are dedicated to consistently delivering premier service to schools, students, and parents in support of Nelnet’s Department of Education loan servicing contract. We work with you to promote financial literacy and default prevention, and we review our service performance regularly to ensure the highest quality.

Resolve issues immediately.

We work quickly to resolve issues in a timely manner by identifying, communicating about, and responding to all inquiries within 24 hours.

Partner with you.

We actively engage you in the loan servicing and business solution delivery process to provide needed resources and assistance.

Develop products and services as needed.

From default management to training, we will continually add to our core products and services to better meet the needs of our clients.
