You Spoke, We Listened: New Streamlined Emails for Schools

It is important that we have a strong, open communication channel with all of our school partners.   Some of our schools prefer that we email them,  some prefer phone calls,  while some really value a face-to-face visit in their office. We work to try to match our communication methods with how each school wants them delivered. 

 With this is mind, we recently took  much of the feedback we have received from schools and made some changes:

  • Instead of sending multiple email updates each week regarding trainings, tools for students, FAQ’s, and regulatory changes we will combine all of these into one weekly email.  Simply click on the topics that are of interest to you.
  • Nelnet Partner Solutions does not send marketing emails.  The emails you receive from us will be topics relevant to our role as a federal loan servicer for the Department of Education
  • Schools asked servicers to be more clear in the title of  emails.  Going forward all of our emails will begin with begin with “Nelnet Loan Servicing:” and include the topic covered.

Everyone gets so many emails these days, we wanted to do our best to reduce the influx of emails you are getting yet still make sure that you are getting all the information you need for you and your students.
