Financial Literacy: Free Webinars For Your Students

February 6, 2012

Raise awareness of financial literacy by promoting the Money Mondays webinar series, featuring webinars on budgeting and credit scores. This series kicks off on February 13th.

Nelnet wants to improve the odds of every student ending up with a positive financial balance sheet after graduation, along with skills to build good financial habits for life.

The Money Mondays webinar series offers students a free, easy-to-access way to learn about money from the comfort of their own computers. They simply sign up at www.nelnet.com/moneymondays, then join the scheduled webinars to learn about a new topic each time. When they finish the series, they will have the tools they need to talk about money with confidence, manage finances more responsibly, and make solid financial plans for the future.

You can help your students get smart about money by promoting the Money Mondays webinar series on campus. To help promote the series to your students, we have provided the following tools:

  • Printable flier about Money Mondays that you can share with your students
  • Link for your school’s website to the schedule and registration form: www.nelnet.com/moneymondays
  • Money Mondays logo for your  website which contains an embedded link to the registration form
  • Financial literacy tips and worksheets for students.  All fliers are available in color and black and white versions that can be customized in the lower left corner before printing.
