News You Can Use: The New Federal Student Aid E-Training Web Site

August 2, 2013

Last month, FSA announced a new training Web site called Federal Student Aid E-Training. This new training resource offers interactive online courses and access to archived training modules.

The Department of Education recommends first-time users of the site go to http://fsatraining.info and take the virtual tour. The brief, three-minute video highlights the site’s main menu bars and provides helpful navigation tips.

The current library of online training available on the FSA E-Training Web site includes four introductory training videos under the menu item “Intro to Federal Student Aid.” Seven general student eligibility modules are also available under the menu item “Training by Topics.” The training courses are self-paced and are generally offered in short, 8-20 minute training segments.

The ANN-13-06 letter announces the launch of FSA’s new training Website.
