Tools for FAOs: A Fresh Perspective From Nelnet News

September 26, 2013

Next week, our email news updates will receive a makeover, but the changes aren’t just aesthetic. We know that you don’t have time to dig for the information or resources you need. Our new email updates will provide you targeted news and information on the latest tools, when you need it. Here are some of the improvements you can expect:

  1. You now have frequency options – Weekly updates will continue to be sent every Tuesday. Now, at the end of the month, we will send a monthly recap that features the most important articles from that month. You can choose to receive the weekly updates, the monthly recap, or both. You will be able to click on the SUBSCRIPTION OPTIONS button at the bottom of future emails to specify your preferences.
  2. Improved format – The weekly update will take on a new format. This format is designed to be more user and mobile-friendly.   Your “need-to-know” articles will be located right at the top of the update. These will include top industry announcements, the latest tools and resources from Nelnet, information about Nelnet borrowers, and more. There will also be dedicated sections for those of you interested in upcoming training, the latest announcements and tools from FSA, and those special features on our colleagues in the industry.
  3. Give us your feedback – At the bottom of each email, you will be able to let us know your opinion. Was the email clear, useful,  and timely? Do you have suggestions for improvement? Let us know so that we can continue to meet your needs.

These helpful changes were made based on feedback from you and your colleagues. Please continue to share your thoughts and ideas with your regional director or the ideas mailbox.

Did someone forward this to you? Sign up to receive our weekly update and monthly recap.
