Many students who graduated after the Spring 2013 semester are approaching the end of their grace period. Here are a few tips from FSA on how federal student loan borrowers can prepare for their first payment:

  1. Get organized
  2. Contact your loan servicer
  3. Estimate your monthly payments under different repayment plans
  4. Select the repayment plan that works for you
