On March 7th, President Obama announced a new initiative to “help ensure that more of America’s students take the first step towards college success: completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.”

To promote FAFSA completion, the Department of Education will enable states to provide valuable information on student FAFSA completion progress to schools and districts, beginning the 2014-15 school year. FSA has also updated the FAFSA completion tool that is already in place to include completion numbers for the 2014 high school graduating class.
