You know you need a vacation when…

  1. Instead of a novel, you read the Federal Student Aid Handbook for pleasure reading.
  2. The only letters you receive are Dear Colleague Letters.
  3. Your only time away from the office is scheduled conferences.
  4. You are still not sure what material your desk is made of, as it is now covered in paper and files.
  5. You are getting use to hearing, “Nobody ever told me I have to pay that back.”
  6. Financial aid acronyms make sense.
