January 4, 2016

FSA recently announced a pair of instructor-led webinars that will provide important information for financial aid officers.

1.  Experimental Sites Initiative: Dual Enrollment Experiment

This webinar will provide an overview of the Dual Enrollment experiment included in the November 3, 2015 Federal Register. During the webinar, FSA will discuss the relevant regulatory waivers and other features of the experiment. They will also discuss institutional reporting requirements for the experiment. The webinar will close with a live question-and-answer period.

Federal Student Aid staff will present this webinar in a 90-minute session on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 1:30 P.M. (ET).

Registration (required) is closed, however you may add yourself to the waitlist at http://fsaregistration.ed.gov/d/pfq9hw.

2. Verification and Unusual Enrollment History

This webinar will provide schools with an update on the requirements for verifying information provided by applicants for Title IV federal student aid. The webinar will also include a review of how schools are expected to resolve Unusual Enrollment History (UEH) issues as flagged on students’ ISIRs. It will close with a live question-and-answer period.

FSA will offer this single, 90-minutes webinar on two separate occasions: Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 1:30 P.M. (ET) and Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 1:30 P.M. (ET).
