Welcome John King, Jr. – New U.S. Secretary of Education

Last week, the U.S. Senate confirmed John King., Jr., as the 10th U.S. Secretary of Education. We welcome Dr. King to his new role and we are excited to work together to ensure that every student succeeds.

Prior to assuming this role, Dr. King served as principal advisor at the Department of Education. In that role, he oversaw all preschool-through-12th-grade education policies, programs, and strategic initiatives.
