April 5, 2016

Budgets are great resources for every student. They help students make smart financial decisions today. They set students up for financial success in the future. They even help settle the eternal Ramen vs. Chipotle debate. Yes, budgets hold extreme power.

Unfortunately, the hardest thing about budgeting is getting started in the first place. Attempting to track where dollars go – amidst studies, extracurricular activities, and social lives – can often seem like introducing one’s mind to a cheese grater.

Luckily, FSA great budgeting resources available to all students at StudentAid.gov/Budget. These resources will help your students create and follow personal budgets, and they even provide advice on balancing work and school.

In the spirit of Financial Literacy Month, share this link, as well as the video below, with your students.
